We require all dogs to be fully vaccinated and be at least 6 months old. Only on your first session will you be required to show proof of vaccination. We can take all dog breeds up to 300 pounds. Please clear all health conditions or special needs with your veterinarian before choosing our services. All special needs or health conditions should be disclosed to the Woofy Fit K9 handler before the run commences.

We recommend for the first session in some cases 2 or 3 sessions will require you to be present until your dog is comfortable with us and using the machines. After your dog is friends with us, it is your choice whether you would like to share the experience with your furry friend or have us do the session with your blessings and instructions.

At WoofyFit your dog will be in the care of well-trained K9 professionals. Our staff is fully pet first aid and CPR certified to ensure your pet's safety. Before your run complete the waiver form located on our website, and have your dog on a harness and if necessary a dog muzzle if you don't have one that is ok as our vehicle is equipped with harnesses and muzzles. Please make sure your dog has gone potty before running and eaten food at least 2 hours before running also for safety please make sure their nails are trimmed. Once our staff arrives we will do a meet and greet session to familiarize your dog with our staff and equipment. Some dogs may take longer to get comfortable with the strange equipment we are trying to put them on so patience and positive encouragement are our tools for the job. Once your dog is up and running it is smooth sailing from there on out.

During the summer season, we recommend running/walking your dog on our treadmill at least 2 times a week maybe more or less depending on your dog's energy level or special needs. During the winter seasons, we recommend at least 3 times a week maybe more or less depending on your dog's needs.

It can take your dog no time at all or it can take 1 or 2 sessions until your dog builds up confidence and comfort. It really depends and is on a case-by-case basis as all dogs are different. But we have seen more dogs start using our machines within the first 5 minutes. The main thing is your dog can go at his or her own pace.

We service the Toronto and GTA area with Scarborough being our home base. Anywhere that exceeds 30 minutes or more radius outside of Scarborough we charge an extra fee.
